MAILING PROPOSALS

The Snee-Reinhardt Charitable Foundation realizes that every non-profit organization has had both positive and negative experiences in submitting grant proposals.  However, due to the nature of our office, we have had our own experiences in receiving your submissions.

We are asking that NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED be attached when sending any grant propsal being sent through the United States Postal Service.  Please read further for additional information.

NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED:

  • United States Postal Service (USPS):  The United States Postal Service has changed how mail is delivery to our business.  We no longer have a postal worker delivering mail directly to our office which means that any Signature Required mail is now held at our local USPS branch.  Unfortunately, we have had several issues with Signature Required pieces being misplaced or lost.  We are asking that you do not send any grant proposal with SIGNATURE REQUIRED as we are no longer picking up mail at this branch.  Any SIGNATURE REQUIRED piece will be returned to your organization.
  • FedEx and UPS:  FedEx and UPS deliver at times when our office is not open.  While we can simply sign 97% of the Signature Required slips from FedEx and UPS which do not require a staff member to be present to deliver, there is 3% of deliveries that do require someone present.  This make additional delivery attempts difficult as well.  As long as we are able to sign the slip left on the door, FedEx or UPS can place the proposal in the delivery slot at our office.
  • E-MAIL:  The Snee-Reinhardt Charitable Foundation accepts grant proposals via e-mail at info@snee-reinhardt.org.  This does not require a SIGNATURE REQUIRED slip.  And since we encourage early submissions weeks prior to our deadline dates, by e-mailing your organization's grant proposal this allows for quicker responses including acknowledgement of receipt and if information or materials are missing.

If you are looking to submit a grant proposal, every organization must take the time to thoroughly read the entire For Grant Seekers section as it provides all of the necessary information for an organization to determine if it fits within our guidelines. You will find information on our Grant Request Process, Category Definitions, Limitations and Restrictions, Primary Geographic Focus and Frequently Asked Questions.

If it is determined that your organization meets our requirements, you may obtain an application under Grant Application.  If you still have questions after reading this section, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you further.
