Organizations that are not classified as a "Public Charity" under the provisions of Section 501(c)(3) or similar tax-exemption provisions by the Internal Revenue Service are not eligible for support. Other organizations, activities and/or programs excluded from support by the Snee-Reinhardt Charitable Foundation are:

1. General capital improvement
2. General operating expenses and fringe benefits
3. Chairs or professorships
4. Endowment funding
5. Grants to individuals
6. Political contributions
7. Highly specialized health or medical programs that do not have specific impact on the community
8. Organizations and programs designed to influence legislation or elect candidates to public office
9. Organizations that discriminate by race, color, creed, gender or national origin
10. Programs that promote, research or support the prevention of life, abortion, the practice of euthanasia, or cruelty to animals
